Love you Dad
I'm Jad. I'm married to a beautiful wife, live in the beautiful city of Nashville and have a beautiful life. First and foremost, I'm a Christian. Secondarily, I'm an attorney, a musician, and a big 'ol kid. | Jody on Jimmy Andrew Duncan; May 18, 1… | |

O.K…Jad, you know I loved your Dad a whole lot. MANY years ago
at Brook Hollow when I was looking for someone else to work with me in the library, your mother (!) came to me and said, “I think Jimmy would love to work in the library.”..of course she had not asked him at that time, but when I asked him he said all right and he has worked right along beside me every Sunday for I really can’t remember now how many years it has been. He would really “get onto people” when they had an overdue book out. It was always a little joke with us that if someone had a book overdue we would say we would “get Jim after them!”
I do so miss him. We have a picture of him in the library so he can be sure and watch us to see if we are doing things right.
You and your mother are still in my prayers…the prayer for healing…which only time and God can take care of. I am so glad Jonah and Sawyer are going to Sunday School together!! Teddy Jo Carson
I was trying to think of one word to describe your father and what came to me was “subtle.” Something didn’t sound right and I didn’t know if that was completely appropriate, so I looked it up:
SUBTLE-difficult to understand or perceive, obscure, perceptive, refined, having or marked by keen insight and ability to penetrate deeply and thoroughly. After reading this I realized it was perfect (from my perspective). Therefore, I just wanted you to know that I always thought your dad was one of the coolest and most subtle men I had ever met.
