Gentlemen:
I must say that your attempts to rattle the Duncan household over the past few nights are futile and have only strengthened our resolve. I must admit that until last night I had never been “Manequined” and before Saturday I had never been “Lidded.” I can now say that I have been “Rolled”, “Lidded” and “Manequined” by you guys this year and at this time I have a pregnant wife that is a little annoyed. Although brazen (only becuase you strike early and usually when we’re home) and creative, your pranks have become a little stale indicating that: 1.) you don’t have ANYthing else to do. 2.) you’re too scared to prank anyone else. 3.) you think that I won’t retaliate.
Maybe you feel like we thwarted your attack so well last summer when we waited up for you and ran you off that you have to make up for the lost battle. In some way, I’m pretty sure we’re still one up on you from that incident.
I must admit a LITTLE fault in this. I AM a really laid back guy that doesn’t get mad. And I did do a lot of this stuff when I was your age (karma on me which my poor wife is terribly frustrated with). Also I realize the error in my ways by telling stories that sound like “In the good old days we used to….” But it seems that I may have created a “monster” or several “monsters” who somehow have the gas money to get from Cheatham and Williamson Counties to my house in Bellevue and play pranks.
Therefore, in this open letter, I am requesting that you A.) Get a job. B.) Get a life. C.) Clean up my yard. D.) Get ready for retaliation. I’m pretty sure that wifey, Brandi, Pete and Pat will all be willing to help.
Sincerely,
JD

I'm Jad. I'm married to a beautiful wife, live in the beautiful city of Nashville and have a beautiful life. First and foremost, I'm a Christian. Secondarily, I'm an attorney, a musician, and a big 'ol kid.

I feel for you man. As a former youth pastor who has been the victim of more pranks than I care to remember let me warn you: It NEVER ends and you WON’T win. It’s a losing battle my friend. There’s more of them, they stay up later and, like you pointed out, they don’t have a life.

That’s hilarious! Maybe we should retaliate!
Jad,
Do we need to get the brotherhood involved???
The Godfather
@ B.Ruggles: Well, I’m going to give it the old college try and I think after all of the shenanegans this early in the summer they have it comin’ to ‘em big time.
@ Bran: Not Maybe but definitely retaliate.
@ Godfather: Yep, I think this is a job for my fraternity bretheren.
You know, I knew some guys that pulled pranks once. Then one night they took some friends for a ride down by the old mill…and we never heard from them again.
Jad,
Just wanted to drop a quick comment to say welcome to the Fraternity… Oh the good ole days of high school… You should just send you wife out after the kids. I remember when my wife was pregnant. Nothing scared me more than the wrath of a pregnant woman.
Jad, I’m so in. What are you doing this weekend?
@ Tank: I know. Unfortunately I have already told most of the boys about the “Psycho Killers.” There may be a few that are unknowing.
@Adam: Thanks for the line. And yes, my wife scares me right now too.
@ Pete: Glad you’re in. I knew you would be. We’ll talk “off-blog”
